2. Regulations/ Rules
l If you do a part-time work without a valid work permit, you will be fined from NTD 30,000 to NTD 150,000 and expelled from Taiwan immediately.
l By law, the maximum working hours for students is 20 hours per week, except during summer and winter vacations;However, for the total working hours per month may vary depending on the funding source as different positions funded by different sources have varying regulations on working hours for a month.
l Please take a part-time job seriously, it still requires a responsible and punctual attitude and should treat it with respect, just like any other job.

l Related Matters
ü Clock in/ out: Sign in/ out on the WAC Q.6.0.02; It is required to work a minimum of 1 hour and a maximum of 4 hours for per working session while the maximum limit in a single day is 8 hours.
ü Salary: The payment varies according to the funding sources and an hourly wage rate will be adjusted in accordance with the announcements made by the Ministry of Labor.
ü Leave application: If you have worked for over 6 months consecutively, you are eligible to take a paid leave on the WAC system.
Deduction for insurance and compulsory contribution benefits: The salary will be deducted for labor insurance and a compulsory contribution benefit, which is 6% of the monthly wages. You could apply to collect your contribution benefits back before leaving the school at the cashier on campus (seek assistance from your employer).
